Blue Majik Lotus Brain Balancer

Blue Majik Lotus Brain Balancer

February 19, 2019

Roses are red, violets are blue...here’s another smoothie, that’s good for you. I call this the Blue Majik Lotus Brain Balancer ✨🔮📿💆🏼‍♀️
I used a green banana in this puppy for that resistant starch.
It’s called resistant starch because it is resistant to digestion functioning similar to soluble fiber. Basically...you’re more likely to poop it out than store it.

Green bananas are low on the glycemic index falling between 40 & 60. Yellow bananas go all the way up to 110 as they ripen, and a brown banana...well let’s just say brown is best reserved for the toilet bowl as its’ GI shoots up to 130.

Resistant starch can have powerful health benefits including improving insulin sensitivity (oh haaaaayyyy my PCOS princesses), lowering blood sugar levels, and reducing appetite. Took it a step further with a double dose of e3live blue majik to support anti-oxidant & cellular protection from the freaky free radicals we are exposed to daily.

Full Recipe:
• 8oz unsweetened almond milk
• 1 scoop Ancient Nutrition vanilla bone broth protein
• 2 packets of e3live blue majik
• 1 tbsp of byerikaelizabeth adaptogenic rose elixir (rose petals, ashwaghanda, shavarti, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, stevia, pink mineral salt)
• 1 tsp sunpotion mucuna puriens (precursor to dopamine)
• 1 tbsp almond butter
• 1 green banana & lots of crushed ice

Topped it off with animamundiherbals Blue Lotus tea leaves - only beneficial when steeped, but it looks pretty here!
